No politician or official held accountable, no concerted public outrage, that it took 30+ minutes for CPD to arrive at shooting of a CPD officer.

Where’s the outrage for Officer Preston? Instead media circus covers aggressor Neely’s death after NYC subway fight, ad nauseam.

Thanks to the Illinois legislature there are no more life sentences for individuals under the age of 21. Max penalty is 40 yrs and with day to day credit for time served 40 equals 20. Mandatory release. 2 Chicago police officers have been killed in the last couple of months by persons under 21. The lives of officers in Illinois are worthless thanks to the black caucus and the democrat controlled legislature.

They had all their illegal gun charges dropped, repeatedly.

But you, deplorable, will serve time in jail for your illegal 17 round clip that came with your gun.

Because they hate you.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
