Arlington Heights school loses state recognition over masks – Daily Herald*

The Illinois State Board of Education has taken action against 57 public school districts and private educational organizations since Aug. 11 for defying the mask rule issued Aug. 4.  Of those placed on probation, 46 are public school districts, most of them downstate. Thirteen have been reinstated. Eleven private educational organizations had their recognition removed; four have been reinstated.

Does this indicate open rebellion against Porky? People have a normal reflex to give Porky the finger.

But then again, is “recognition” by Illinois really worth anything? The worst CPS schools are “recognized” right? I would guess that Arlington Heights school would test way better in outcomes than 99% of the recognized CPS schools. Not to fear Arlington heights, continue teaching and following your principles, there are plenty of good colleges that will still accept your kids.

This is completely authoritarian and heavy handed. Ridiculous.

Anarcho-Tyranny. Innocent students lose their education for defying the regime while children who don’t attend school and carjack instead have their charges dropped.
