Are there any laws pertaining to an individual who is on or just prescribed any anti-psychotic medicines and the ownership or wanting to purchase a firearm? Hipaa laws protect doctor/patient confidentiality but at what cost? How does a doctor know that when they prescribe meds to a patient that they own a gun or a planning to buy one.
