“When you look at something like COVID, the fact that there would be COVID in the home in and of itself is not an outrage,” said U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, whose congressional district includes the state veterans’ home. “It’s the fact that you know it takes a month to really fully come to grips with what’s going on and to take the federal government’s help...To see this thing rolling around as it did for a month and the casualties that mounted as a result of it is really sad.”
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
