When the money runs out from Covid dollars the stuff will really hit the fan. There are no additional federal dollars coming to prop up the projects that were started, or worse, to keep hundreds of public entities funded at current levels. It won’t happen all at once, but over the next 12 to 18 months it is going to happen. The federal Covid dollars were funded in a zero interest rate environment, and that simply doesn’t exist anymore.
