“Any rational person who has spent even the most minimal amount of time studying human history has to ask themselves on one important question: Once they get the citizens of this nation comfortable with the current atrocities committed under the color of law, what comes next?” Gov. JB Pritzker said.
Recommended rewording: once they get the citizens of this nation comfortable with illegal immigrants living in their midst, what comes next?

JB was spouting off the percentages that crime has gone down by. That might work with the ivory tower liberals. That doesn’t make sense to your average CPS educated citizen who’s not proficient in math. That person looks at what goes on in his neighborhood.

“Gov. JB Pritzker said.”? Amazingly, as I read that paragraph, I thought it was Trump saying it.
That is, how can “the citizens of this nation (become) comfortable” with the Degree of Murder, Carjacking, Assault and Crime in Cities like Chicago, Baltimore or D.C.?
Even D.C.’s Mayor Bowser has stated how crime has gone down Drastically since Trump sent in the additional Law Enforcement to help their crime epidemic.

It seems in every neighborhood now – Lakewood, Lincoln Park, Bucktown, Wrigleyville, the Loop, etc, etc, near everyone has a crime ‘story’. Chicago is on the same exact path as Detroit, and Pritzker and the Democrats see that as just fine.

Every time JB makes a ridiculous statement like this, he loses another notch in national polls. He will never be taken seriously outside of Illinois when a better informed and better educated voter base listens to what he says. There are few places like Illinois where he could get away with such absurdities.
Even in Illinois, I doubt the general population likes this.

“Terror and cruelty” is what the good citizenry of Chicago are suffering right now Governor a situation that you and the Mayor will not address. Your word salad regarding history and authoritarianism are little solace to people that are afraid to come out of their houses at night, to parents who send their children on the streets to attend schools and to those that have had their loved ones physically attacked and sometimes killed on the lawless streets of Chicago. Governor you, along with the Mayor, have failed your constituents thus extraordinary actions are needed to return sanity to the… Read more »
Spot on, well said. Cruelty is accepting current levels of violent crime and meeting it with the SAFE-T Act and social justice warrior judges under an 82 year old Chief Judge Evans rather than listening to law enforcement experts, who Pritzker, Preckwinkle, Johnson, and much of the city council seek to ridicule, defund and delegitimize as having a role in controlling crime. In a better world there would be excellent education and economic opportunity for all and crime would decrease. Meantime we need to deal with the world as it is, not as we wish it to be, and these… Read more »
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
