The fact is the Federal Government provides the full funding of SNAP benefits while the states pay the costs of administering the program. The Feds have every right to the databases as the payor of the benefits. States that do not comply are just hiding something from the Feds and their own voter constituents. I don’t hold any hope that voters will cure the ills of IL in my lifetime as life here gets worse here every year. North of the border is calling. Time to leave home again.

It is well known now that Illinois’ has a high error rate regarding the handing out of food welfare. One might think that Pritzker would be glad to comply with the request of the Federal Government on this matter to help rectify the error problem. Pritzker, by his refusals, continues to make the problem worse that may in fact end the future of the program in Illinois for lack of overall funding. Once again Pritzker is playing games to make headlines for himself regardless of the ramifications to the State as a whole…and where is the media on this? <crickets>
