The buses packed with Venezuelan migrants are now arriving in downtown Chicago day and night, doubling in number in recent weeks. City officials are struggling to open more shelters, while more than 2,300 migrants are sleeping at police stations, in lobbies and just outside in makeshift camps.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Is it unreasonable to ask why the only apparent benefit of this “immigration” to the average citizen is the emotional comfort from being so welcoming?

Absolutely spot on. Criminal Illegal Alien is the correct legal phrase. But if you avod this unpleasant phrase and use a different purposely inaccurate word, then the legal and illegal become blurred. And War becomes Peace, Ignorance becomes slavery and 2+2 = 5.
Change the language that’s right out of the Communists Manifesto the Democrats have been doing it for years Illegal Aliens changed to Migrants sounds so much less Threatening
“Invaders” seems to be the most appropriate descriptor.
