There’s no doubt these criminals are shooting to kill their victims. So it makes little sense that only 3 out of 21 people shot this weekend died. We can try to say that life-saving technology at hospitals helps save lives of people who would have otherwise died, and that’s part of it, but I think the bigger part of it is that the criminals are terrible shots.
