Here’s some context that DNC typists, Rob Hughes, Cate Cauguiran, and ABC7 Chicago Digital Team left out. The remains of Biden shuffled onto the stage and immediately began mumbling the teleprompter’s words. The intro music was still blaring as Joe mumbled on, with the sound people suddenly cutting off the walk-on music, as Joe was completely unaware of it. Even though the sycophantic audience and the useless Media swooned over Joe’s typically rambling speech. The talk featured his usual delvances into made up anecdotes that never happened and occasional yelling angrily into the microphone. For those who don’t suffer from… Read more »

Did Biden and the Leftist Democrats ever apologize for dog robbing Medicare of $5B? Or for putting illegal aliens on SS robbing the trust fund of $B’s?

Biden read a speech written by far left Democrats. The positions cut were Biden hires to make employment numbers look better. When you read the job numbers, most increases were in government hiring. These positions were never necessary in the first place. Only created for Dem political reasons.

Of course CHI has to be the first place this chicken weasel makes his first appearance since slithering out of his hole. This grifter that tried to ruin America by bankrupting it, allowing every piece of dreck in the world to stroll across the border, give repeat offenders a free pass to create more mayhem, constantly lie and gift millions along with his drug addicted, moronic son should be under indictment.

The information being repeated by the media is that 6000 SS employees were laid off and somehow some SS offices were closed. Likely there was at least 6K employees of fat that needed to go. Closing of some SS offices I believe was because they were open to serve more fraud and thieves than actual legit SS participants. The government has built a contact center phone system to handling all the incoming calls and DOGE has determined that a large percentage (something like 80%) are scammers and thieves trying to get in to talk with a SS agent and scam… Read more »

Maybe there was a big speaking fee, for him to keep his mouth shut about skeletons in closets?

Your first two sentences are debatable since Elon Musk certainly has and presumably will. Who not only endures but still sponsors and even encourages Musk? Trump. “Surprise, surprise” as Gomer Pyle used to say.

Not exactly. The reduction in SS staffing alone is a serious deterioration of benefit accessing services, isn’t it? Let’s just say “it ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings” here.

If cutting SS staffing causes serious deterioration I would expect a massive voter backlash. The reality is that cutting staffing will impact a small minority of the benefit recipients and the media will do its best to highlight those stories in an attempt to discredit the administration. About 8% of SS recipients are in their first year of receiving benefits and almost half of those people never called an office nor went in person to get their benefits. There was a time when most people went to the bank in person but now most of our transactions are done online… Read more »

Garbage. Worthless grifting public sector union members. Democrats are upset about the loss in union dues and don’t give a fig about anything else. Many of these grifters will apply for unemployment insurance and discover that their SSN has been fraudulently used by another criminal. Surprise!!!

I agree with your observation although the chant that “there’s no evidence” will become louder. My concern is that there seems to be no will (or no budget) to prosecute the fraudsters. When you consider the cost of jailing them, the problems increase. Why not just tie up their bank accounts and encumber their real estate and let them hire the lawyers? Then the government can slow-walk the due process. There will be collateral damage of course but far less than the damage that taxpayers have been suffering. There is no deterrence of fraud unless there is a painful consequence.

I agree. Most of the grifters within the US have no assets. They spent their free money on worthless crap. So simply garnish money until they are dead and then garnish their estate. It won’t cover all losses but will recover some and be a deterrence. Same treatment for the PPP fraudsters – many of them Democrat voting Cook county public sector workers. For the foreign fraudsters those much bigger chunks of money can be seized in many but not all nations by the US. For individual illegal immigrants and foreigners simply prevent them and all heirs from ever becoming… Read more »

It looks like he is speaking of the SSA, not the payments.

Cuts to SS benefits is a total media LIE and proof of the DNC/Mainstream Media symbiotic perversion in case anyone is blind to it. Cuts to criminally illegal SS benefits to the several million persons over 110 years old, the false disability claims from fraud mills outside and within the US and cuts to SS benefits via stolen SS numbers are TRUE plus cuts to bloated SS Administration staff but the propaganda Pravda media doesn’t report this. They hide this information because these criminals are Democrat voters.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
