Too many stories out there about Bill being a complete tool for there not to be some truth. He’s a funny guy, but not necessarily a good one.

That peasant white girl was still white, and embodied all of whiteness, and therefore privileged, and was part of the oppressor class against anyone of a different color skin; and because she was white, and the painting by a white artist, this art was therefore completely unrelatable to BIPOC.
