Illinois would provide up to $10,000 for funerals and burials of children who are murdered by a gun. Forty-five children were murdered by gun violence just in Chicago under the age of 17 in 2021 and 14 have been murdered since the beginning of this year.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
