A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
So are white Americans leaving for the very same reasons. High crime and high taxes, poor services at the highest prices in the land.
Wherever they end up they will just vote for more Democrats making the areas they move to ever more unlivable.
I hope you’re wrong on that. When I moved from Illinois five years ago to a mid sized southern town, besides low crime and taxes, everybody was working! Black, White, Latino whatever, everybody has a job. I’m amazed at the Latino men doing roofing in ninety five degree heat, African American men working the trash pickup trucks, again in hot and humid weather. I admire these guys because, even in my prime, I couldn’t/wouldn’t do these jobs. We don’t need any more division. I truly hope your wrong sir.
Forget about the real-estate doom loop. Black, Brown, White or plain old pink w purple Polk-a-dot folks are all leaving to escape the Chicago/Illinois– EQUITY HUSTLE DOOM LOOP where if your not part of the public sector guaranteed upper-class or living off tid-bit gov hand outs you have ZERO chance of enjoying the fruits of your labor. To further elaborate, “Black Americans leaving Cities” are also usually the middle-class and upper-class Black American households, not welfare-dependent households.
Life there is a laugh a minute-I used to watch Good Times when I was a kid. But yea, the blacks that need to move the most are the ones least able to afford to do so. The blacks that move have more disposable income. Even Whites are leaving for greener pastures.
