I hear Chicago State University has an excellent honors program…ok, honors program…ok, program…ok, decent HVAC.
Let’s not over react. The article sates that the group advocating these ideas are BIPOC students in the Honors program. I’m guesiing that you can count them on one hand.
Shame on Loyola. Used to be a standout academic institution. Not any more. Now it doesn’t know the difference between a history class and a creative writing class. If you don’t read the Bible how do you know if you agree with it or not. If you don’t agree– that’s perfectly ok. Take a comparative religions class and make up your own mind on what religion makes sense to you. But you can’t deny the Bible’s role in history. Loyola used to be a good school until 50 years ago when they decided to destroy the reputation of their medical school and law school by accepting unqualified, ignorant, blacks to the detriment of infinitely more qualified whites. Now the medical school is full of undocumented Latinos and totally unqualified black baby momma female SJWs who can’t cut the academic rigor. You are taking your life in your hands at Loyola. They are unqualified .
Khmer Rouge targeted educated people, professors and professionals with college degrees, even people who simply wore glasses, tried to eradicate higher-education institutions, knowing that uneducated people are easier to “re-educate” and manipulate with marxist propaganda. We’re facing similar issue here, given students’ SJW agenda to aggressively implement strident policies to “excise dominance of white European men” from university curriculum. Society is rolling out the carpet for a bunch of coddles adolescents who do not even have the perspective to make such requests. They just want people like them to cater to their feelings. They will not be ready for the real world, global competition, etc. we will see if Loyola has the guts to stand up to these brats or it starts a major decline as an educational institution. The high school with the same name on the north shore seems to have been mildly worried about their reputation when the spotlight was put on their racist teacher.
Loyola academy is not what it was academically and neither is ignatius as they cater to unqualified inner city gang banger blacks with free scholarships while the whites pay the freight.
Cater is a strong word… I have one there and one who graduated a few back… Don’t conflate Loyola U with Loyola A… Though, they also are infected with the same left-leaning goofs…
Loyola is a religious, Jesuit (catholic affiliated) university, with religious classes required to graduate. This should have been in the first paragraph of the article, instead of the last, which would let the reader know how INSANE it is that someone would pay $50,000 a year to attend a Christian religious educational institution and then complain about having to read the bible.
What they really want is to eradicate Western Civilization itself.
And the woke liberals cheer them on.
