I always believe that everyone regardless of race or ethnicity deserves the best care. I don’t care if the person is black or white or anything else, all people are equal and should be treated so. However, it’s wrongheaded to blame racial disparities on “…unequal access to care, structural racism and implicit biases in the health care system…” where there are other more obvious reasons for the disparities, but dare not be spoken or researched in today’s politically correct environment. We should address these disparities 100% but we can only do so if we are honest about what is happening,… Read more »

She used to hold conference calls where you could sign up and listen and ask questions of our representative. I participated in a couple. For the most part, these were nothing more than a way for her to advertise herself, develop pre-formulated questions and let people “ask” her on the call that allowed her to talk about what she wanted and of course waste the time. I tried the calls 3 times and never found them to be anything more than self-serving crap. Typical Illinois Pol. Illinois will never succeed with this type of person in control.

True American’s must leave the state to save it.

Let it fully tank.

I dunno…I voted against her. This sort of stupidity will never end in Illinois.

Articales calling Underwood a nurse once again? Thought she just has a degree in nursing and has never been or worked as registered nurse? Thought she got out of college, worked for the obama campaigns and then ran for office—thats her worldly work history

Loren Underwood is controlled totally by blm. She called the riots by blm “beautiful.” She has destroyed a formerly good district and must be beaten badly next time or the once beautiful western suburbs will be a ghetto. Look what her people did in Bloomingdale at Indian lakes this weekend. Shooting, ghetto parties.

“The package of bills would fund community organizations” I have to wonder how effective these community organizations are. Seems crooked to me and if it’s such a widespread problem does a community organization have a wide reach.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
