Per CWB, It’s getting even MORE fun!

https://cwbchicago.com/2021/09/2-men-shot-in-river-north-directly-under-the-cpd-camera-that-recorded-weekend-attack-video.html

“Two men were shot in River North early Thursday, directly underneath the CPD surveillance camera that recorded a now-viral video of two men being beaten and robbed in the middle of State Street.

Just to be clear, that last sentence is not an exaggeration. This morning’s shooting occurred under that police camera, perhaps 50 yards from where the two men were attacked on Saturday.”

Such a brutally heinous violent attack. It’s pure evil.
There seems to be alot of black on black violent crime, black on white, black on asian, black on hispanic.
There must be a pattern, but I can’t figure it out !

The worse is white on black, although rare for that there must be looting, and riots, but at least they’re always peaceful

I shared this video of Hell on State Street with an old friend from the other side, before inter-party friendship was outlawed. His reply was that it is frightening what the rightwing takeover of America has done. This from a Lakefront Liberal who used to run a department at a major university. There really is no hope for these people.

Wow !
What department in the university did he run? Sociology? Political Science? Does he think the “right-wingers” have taken over the city of Chicago? You should email him, ask him to explain, because you’d like to learn.

I left Chicago and Illinois as well. It’s amazing the bubble you live in while being a Chicago resident. You simply don’t realize how much you accept and compartmentalize all of the negative things you have to endure, like crime, taxes and crappy schools. It’s not until I left that I realized it was normal to live somewhere safe and somewhere with good schools. In a place where I’m not eternally house-poor. My family had been in Chicago for over 100 years, it’s disheartened to get chased out. But the sad reality is that there will never be any light… Read more »

Well said. As long as people continue to live in Chicago they are engulfed in stubborn Ignorance.
The choice is simple. Leave Chicago and Illinois. Or enjoy the suffering.

We left over four years ago. I was born, raised, educated, lived, and worked in the Chicagoland area all my life except for the last four plus years. I am glad that I left, but it’s a bittersweet mix of sadness for leaving somewhere I’d called home and anger at the stupidity of the government and their voters and hangers-on. And is Chicago isn’t bad enough, the crime is leaching out into “safe” suburbs like Naperville (We have family and friends that live in and around there). There have been a number of shootings there this year, the latest this… Read more »

There were a couple of BMW’s stolen at a dealership a few miles from my house. There was a chase and they crashed in my neighborhood. At 4 am the police were searching my neighborhood for the suspects. I’m guessing they weren’t locals.

Blacks attack two white men in Chicago. An apparent dispute resulted in two white men beaten by black men in a busy area of River North in downtown Chicago at 1:31 AM Saturday on the 400 block of North State Street. Almost all the other people in the area of the attacks are black and do nothing or next to nothing to assist the white victims. As if the beating was not enough, the victims were robbed and multiple women began twerking. No claims of racism. No claims the attacks and robbing are racially motivated. Hardly any of the media… Read more »

Tech Tip – when you see people who are not wearing their pants as normal, be extra cautious if you are White. If you see them grabbing at their pants, hurriedly move away- running is preferred.

Of course the Slum-Times wants to blame to police in their headline

Doesn’t bother me…but that’s because I got off my ass and moved out of Illinois.
Yes, moving was a major hassle for my family, but I care about our safety and future.
I no longer need to explain to others why we moved. The rest of the country is becoming more aware of what’s going on in my former state. Those that stay need to explain their reasoning and why they are putting their families thru the nightmare of Chicago and Illinois. Everyone knows it’s just going to get worse.

As did I. I have been preaching this for years and feel for all of the good people that are still there and have to remain a prisoner in their own city. The tipping point is coming very quickly where the taxes and violence outweigh any benefits of living in Chiraq and the state of confusion which is Illinois. Very soon, you won’t be able to sell your home unless its severely discounted if you need to flee. During the current real estate boom of the past year and a half, there’s a reason Chiraq is at the bottom of… Read more »

Honest question: since it is clear our local prosecutor will not interject in these instances, why would the federal prosecutors not pursue this as an obvious hate crime which could be handled in the federal court system bypassing our derelict prosecutor? From what I saw both victims targeted were white and attacked by AA’s.

The Wildlings don’t care – they know that most likely next to nothing will happen. The Mayor doesn’t care – victims are mostly white. Likewise for the AG.

Seems somewhat ironic that the Wildlings are moving North – where the insulated Democrats are.

Chicago is now a tourist destination for criminals. With no bail $ required and useless police no where to be found, Chicago is a crime mecca for criminals.

Freakin animals in that video

All part of Chicago family values

She was too busy criticizing the policeman who “racially profiled” the girl walking her dog on the beach after curfew.

The left media and some of the so called right side media continue to feed the people the baloney, people are not going downtown because of Covid,
It’s Crime! Unpunished crime! Unspoken, yet supported destruction of Chicago by the inactions and racism coming from the thing Chicago calls a Mayor.

Agree 100% – several people I know have no desire to go to the City with the crime escalating. It is not COVID related. If you look around the suburbs of Chicago, Restaurants and venues have been packed with people.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
