And I thought this was going to be for a ceasefire in Chicago!

What about a return the hostages and Hamas surrender resolution?
an immediate cease-fire and a permanent engagement towards a just solution,” Rosen said
I’d like to know what your average Hamas member considers a just solution, my guess is it’s something along the lines of eliminating Israel.

Springfield, Illinois Christian Activists DEFEAT Referendum radical Pro Hamas group! They introduced a Measure they wanted to have on our NOVEMBER Ballot for Capitol Township. To God be the Glory! Stand Strong, Stand up and get involved!

Burr Ridge should consider a cease-McMansion resolution.
Love this remark. I know people in Burr Ridge–they are sooo insulated from crime in Chicago. Apparently, they do not care about the war zone called Chicago.
This is the suburb that is so out of touch that they spent lots of money to brand the County Line Road highway overpass with the Burr Ridge name. Look at us, we’re rich! But we’re also insecure living in these giant ugly houses!

Let’s concentrate on cease-fire resolutions for municipalities in our own country first. Also, am I missing something here, or do these IL municipalities passing Gaza cease-fire resolutions have absolutely no effect on what’s going on in the Israel-Hamas conflict? If they have no effect, taxpayers shouldn’t have to pay for the time and effort for municipalities to develop these resolutions.

I might have missed it, but did the Burr Ridge city council happen to pass any resolutions last October, say, after October 7th?
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
