Unions first, kids second, as it is a teachers union not a student union. Think it is bad now? Just wait if Amendment One is passed on November 8, 2022. Amendment One will do for public education what the retirement benefits sentence that was added to the state constitution on December 15, 1970 did to pensions and retiree healthcare. That being, costs will go up, the financial condition will deteriorate, and dysfunction will be the norm.
