Great article. However, I wonder if it’s to late – so many in NE IL seem brainwashed, like they can’t fathom what Chicago and IL would be w/o corrupt leftist Democrats running the show. I mean, just look how Pritzker and Democrats are obsessed with late term abortion and infanticide – they are so extreme. And yet people vote for them.

Democrats are transforming Illinois into a progressive utopia where progressive ideologies flourish. The progressive sees high crime not as a bad thing, but a good thing, because it means criminal justice equity.. They see shopping district blight as economic justice.
