In all my 62 years, I’ve never, ever seen as much hate, intolerance, corruption, and anti-Americanism from Democrats – it is disgusting.

You should have seen an eye doctor a long, long time ago.

In any case, you are absolutely correct “it is disgusting”.

“French Revolution”? Wow, clearly Mr Turley has zero understanding of history. These recent events have absolutely nothing in common with the French Revolution. Why is someone so ignorant given a media platform?

The revolution will eat their own. Keep locked and loaded in the meantime if they try to vandalize or loot your property. Every time I see a protester, I make another donation to my favorite causes: WinRed.

The absence of centrist voices, from both sides, has created a vacuum into which the crazies are the only voice heard. Enablers and virtue signalers (JB, LL, etc.) have abdicated their duties… This will continue for a bit – but it should fade as there is no one on the other side of the incident… There are no voices calling for discrimination or codified prejudice… The “systemic” issue is really one that cannot be bludgeoned away – the silent prejudice that exists in the hearts of individuals – which cannot be eliminated by these displays… But, back to topic, there… Read more »

Mr. Glennon,   You are right in that the original goal of the French Revolution was Democracy and it quickly devolved into chaos and destruction. The goals of this current chaos skipped right over the first step of noble ideals and went straight to irrational mob madness. The bright spot is that – like Danton, Robespierre and Marat – no one is pure enough for a mob so eventually they will all succumb to the mob.   As I write this on revolutionary calendar date 21 Prairial CCXXVIII I know that, like the French Revolutions’ only remaining remnant, the Metric… Read more »

The ‘reforms’ the liberal leftists wants are unpalatable to the vast majority of the population. Abolish the police? ACAB? Dismantle the heteronormative cisgendered white family structure? Demolish white privilege?   Hundreds of thousands are marching but tens of millions are stuck in our homes watching in abject horror of what is unfolding. The national news media and the protestors are gaslighting you, trying to wear you down, making you believe everyone but you agrees with them.   Thank goodness there are 5 months before the election and anything can happen. Although I do worry that the leftists will burn down… Read more »

Hopefully my FOID card arrives before Trump’s (hopeful) win in November. That’s another side effect of their “unrest”…Many, many more Americans are going to be armed. Another topic that infuriates liberals and is of their own making. I never thought about owning a gun until now. Now I believe guns are “essential.”

But when can you shoot someone? It seems like the laws are kind of complicated and vary so much by state. In Minneapolis, a pawn-shop owner has been charged with murder for shooting a looter. If someone breaks into your home, do you have to be physically threatened with a deadly weapon, before you can shoot them?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
