Wow finally a voice for the GOP in Illinois. I voted for Rauner but I can honestly say I did not hear a single speech from him in four years that showed he had any spine at all. Rauners priorities are misplaced heavily in left wing land. There is no strength in any of his economic speeches either. What a disappointment Rauner has been, and continues to be in his second campaign. Even on the financial issues he ran on, he has totally caved. The Ives ad will motivate the base, no doubt.
