Capital One leads Illinois mass layoffs as companies announce 1,722 job cuts – Illinois Policy

About 45 percent of the mass layoffs announced statewide impacted workers in suburban Cook County, with an additional 39 percent hitting the collar counties. The remaining cuts hit Champaign, Winnebago, Macon and Stephenson County.

Another company on track to leaving IL. No problem. Pritzker will just replace it with a CCP company. He loves communist China.

So, you have to do layoffs. Where to start? Where businesses are not wanted, Illinois. Extraordinarily expensive health insurance, workers’ compensation, taxes on everything you need to run a successful business and a government that thinks you exist to pay their way for ever, for everything.
