Capital One set to lay off hundreds of workers at Riverwoods campus next month – NBC5 (Chicago)

The company first announced planned layoffs in August, saying 215 workers would be fired beginning Oct. 17 and continuing through May 2026 due to a "financial restructure."

I don’t care if they close all Capital One banks. Whatever, there will always be another bank. Personally I used SunTrust for many years and never had a problem with them. Best bank I ever had, no service fee on any accounts I had since 1987. No longer exist and now this banks have all these service charges As a previous Minister of Finance I did have a problem with SunTrust for church deposit once but not my personal account never which I was very concern about. Never had problem with school bank account for PTA either. Could have gotten… Read more »

Another one bites the dust. Many, many more to follow. Illinois does everything to chase away businesses. Most any other state is a better choice than Illinois.
