Carjacking is now a normalized ghetto initiation rite, live-posted on Instagram and Facebook postings, with no repercussions for Yutes. Thank you Kim Foxx for your public service.

Get armed. Even if it’s just a large machete. Keep it under your seat. Reach down, grab the machete, and slice off the hand of the offender holding the gun pointed at you. The 18 year old won’t even know what’s coming.

Riots will occur, summer shopping season will begin, nobody will get prosecuted, Kim Foxx will say it’s just property, politicians will pass reparations. Businesses will close, jobs will be lost and Chicago will be renamed Somalia of Lake Michigan.

And in other news, gravity still works.

Seriously, we live in a city that has decriminalized crime. Those who break the law are not criminals, they are VICTIMS. Rough lot in life is to blame. NOT THE DECISIONS THEY MADE. KF is despicable. LL is way above her intellect and skillset.

And the media? Licking boots and waiting for alms dropped down to them by their leaders.

Thanks to Wirepoints for alerting us to the Civic Federation report, which afaik was not mentioned by other media. It highlights how little data is actually available, and notes that tho very few cases are cleared, there were actually more carjacking events reported two decades ago than today.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
