"Now is the perfect time for him to rise above, take the moral high ground, as crazy as that sounds, and lead this country out of this chaos that we're seeing right now," Lopez said.
Talk about moving the goal posts. It’s been pointed out that more illegal immigrants have crossed into this country under Biden, than all who came legally through Ellis Island over it’s 62 years of existence. Even if you grant amnesty, there’s little way economically for this country to absorb these kinds of levels without things continuing to go south.Sorry Ray.

Absolutely not. Go home and apply from there, but you should be at the back of the line.
I don’t care how long you were an illegal in the USA, where you worked, how good a job you did, or if you never even got a parking ticket.
The fact that you entered the USA illegally means you should go to the end of the line for consideration to come back.

Amnesty is too strong but a legal pathway to permanent status for individuals with an otherwise good record is reasonable. Immigration reform was not done under Reagan and has been a bipartisan failure since. Now with the first step of strong, enforced borders implemented, immigration reform to address future immigrants as well as those already here in many cases for years is well past time.
Sounds like the H2A program that’s been around for years and the ag-industry hates it. Too bureaucratic, too much paperwork, too expensive and it doesn’t work.

Part of “this chaos that we’re seeing right now” is rioting by illegal aliens (and their fellow travelers). Should they be rewarded with amnesty? No!
Mark Glennon: why does your site use “undocumented immigrants,” Democrat-speak for “illegal aliens”?
You apparently don’t understand that that article is not ours. It’s from ABC. I routinely call them illegals if they crossed the boarder illegally and are not US citizens.

There should be no reward for illegally entering this country. And no other country does this.

No. Reagan’s actions were what flipped California permanently blue. Some independent researchers have said the number of illegals is closer to 40-50 million and this would flip the entire United States blue. That was the reason for open borders. How can you have Chinese and Iranians crossing the border in Mexico unless they were sent here?
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

The agriculture industry (a very reliable red voting bloc) agrees with you.
Have a controlled guest worker program like our Canadian friends to the north. Problem solved.

Which independent researcher claims there are 40-50 million illegals in the U.S.?
Undocumented legally translates to illegal alien. Doesn’t Lopez realize entering the country illegally is a crime?
