Vote to fund law enforcement at a much higher level to deal with the criminal element that is taking over. They’ll come for you or your loved ones next. Vote straight red or pay the price with your own blood.
The rational choice is to move. Even if this current class of politicians leave, what follows may be worse. The political class in Chicago is aided by the media and there is almost no chance that they will reverse course and support intensive policing. The U of C student shot while riding the Green line is a watershed moment of just how violent parts of Chicago can be.
