Chicago and suburban students walk out from class to protest Trump policies – NBC5 (Chicago)

Aurora Mayor John Laesch said he would like to see fewer protests like these; not to restrict 1st Amendment rights, but to keep students safe and in school. However, organizers are already planning more walkouts. State Senator Karina Villa was among the protesters in Aurora.

What a teaching moment. The guy (one guy) walks up with the Trump Flag and the students, instead of honoring this man’s right to peaceful protest and free speech…chase him away with violence. Excellent work teachers and organizers…you taught them that the a person’s first amendment right isn’t honored unless you follow the Mob – which amendment was that under?. This type of behavior and the useless teachers who promote it are the cause of most of the violence that exists.

It’s not surprising at all these latine children went into a mob like frenzy. Latines don’t believe in free speech, not by a long shot. Cato did a study in 2017, 75% of hispanics said that hate speech is violence, and 65% of Latines in the US were in favor of a law that bans hate speech against hispanics. Keep in mind that 80% Democrats believed that the following statement is hate speech: “saying that all illegal immigrants should be deported”. This is what our president Trump ran on and won the presidency on, twice. Yes, 4 out of 5… Read more »

These kids have absolutely no idea what they are protesting, but they walk to be part of something. When they get older they will be part of the unemployment lines because they are to stupid to get jobs

Wonder what their GPA’s are. Influencing youth to defy the federal government is just plain wrong. Without laws, without borders, we have no country! Our children would be better served being proficient in math, reading and science.

Their GPA’s are probably north of 3.5. Grade inflation is real.

Hundreds, may thousands, of our state’s elite and striving high school seniors will be denied a desk in Champaign next fall because U of I accepted hundreds, if not thousands, of 3.5 GPA students with a 22 ACT score from Aurora, Carpentersville, Joliet and Hanover Park. The rest of the desks go to Chinese Nationals – 6000 and counting! Meanwhile, the SEC is taking our best and brightest, often at lower cost to parents that UIUC. Illinois loses tens of thousands of our brightest high school seniors to other states because our university system is a grifting joke that exists… Read more »

Great lawsuit if a student gets injured!! Shows the PARENTS don’t care about their children’s education!!

Schools and teachers need to start focusing on education, not politics. These kids can’t read, but that’s not a problem?

Send a few ICE agents buzzing around and watch the SJW’s with skin in the game run like hell, if they are bold, and stupid, enough to be out there in the first place. Those remaining are just a bunch of indoctrinated idiots.
