That was my thought: kick him upstairs where he would do the least damage. That, or give Harris the worst VP so she loses.

I have a hard time seeing where JB would bring ANY advantage to the Harris presidential ticket that Josh Shapiro or any other reported candidate would not. Except, possibly, lots of money to spread around. Still say that JB will only be picked if every other candidate turns it down.

Mary Ann Ahern is a great reporter, only one in Illinois that has the ability and experience too take on the political climate

But if JB did get elected VP and resign as governor, his successor would be Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton, who AFAICT is an equally liberal Dem and therefore wouldn’t be any less “anti-business”.
I don’t disagree that Stratton is any less anti-business, but she has nowhere near the political presence as JB. His huge wallet buys him a lot of political capital.
How about his thoughts on Synthetic Sex Identities SSI. The media is just the marketing arm of the Democratic party.
