Everybody needs a side hustle these days, and mine is Ukraine, where I am now.
We went to a Greek family restaurant for brunch today, no problems. Philos(?) the owner was very pleasant and thanked us for coming it. OPAHHH!
This is a “Who’ll pick our cotton” argument. “Without the criminal illegal aliens being paid below minimum wage under the table how will we stay in business?” I trust the free market. These businesses will have to pay minimum wage and above to attract workers. Period. The businesses who are undercutting legitimate by-the-rules businesses will just go out of business. The free market is unbiased and it works.
This is great! They’re just doing a one day version of what Tom Homan and ICE are doing permanently. Welcome to the party!
If I had a small business, I’d offer a deal on that day no one could resist. Let’s see the conviction of the illegals then as they line up around the block. BTW, undercover ICE trucks will be parked around the corner.
Meanwhile, other businesses permanently close up shop.
And leave Illinois.
Does this mean that the freebies that these immigrants get will be cut off as well? Should one need to check and see a trip to the nearest hospital ER waiting room might hold the answer.
