Yep, Zippy the Pinhead and the City council need to check their spending at the door. The Citizen tax dollars they are about to waste isn’t for their pet projects or to balance their stupid spending on immigrants. That’s not what it was intended to be used for and hey – it wasn’t needed. How about give it back!! These people think its their money to do with what they want. The stupidity needs to end.

I wouldn’t call these people progressive. I think “progressive” (from “progress”) means moving forward with improvements. Many of the ideas and actions of these “progressive” leaders are making situations worse.

Their ideas are actually regressive, like going back to the bronze age, but not the values of the ancient Greeks, but rather, the sodomites and caananites. What’s old is now new, but the low IQ midwits are too stupid to realize that people before us learned these lessons for us.

Yep. Illinois residents continue to suffer from leaders making bad decisions, because the leaders haven’t studied the history of what works and what doesn’t. They know better, so they continue to waste millions or billions of taxpayer dollars trying to implement ideas that were already found to be foolhardy.

Poor reporting. Neither this article, nor WTTW article clarify if alderman get to vote on what remaining COVID $bucks$ are spent on or does Johnson administration get to spend remaining COVID $bucks$ on whatever they want (CTU?)? Like so much progressive agenda stuff, it looks like what remaining COVID $bucks$ are going to be spent on are more temporary/ “free stuff” giveaways….nothing permanent, nothing lasting….no return on investment. And somehow this aspirational funding approach is the progressive solution to “community dis-investment”/ EQUITY bs, etc???

This is pure insanity, and it’s happening around the country. Billions of dollars being spent simply to use up the taxpayer’s money. They can’t even figure out how to spend it! Rest assured it will end up in the pocket of some fraudster or lazy couch dweller. The Joe Biden Administration is the worst thing to ever happen to this country.
