Chicago curfew rollback clears city council committee amid opposition – FOX32 (Chicago)

It started when Ald. Ray Lopez, a mayoral challenger, asked Chicago Police Lt. Mike Kapustianyk how many curfew citations CPD has issued. The precipitous decline was staggering — from 2,453 in 2018 to 1,804 in 2019 to 635 in 220 to just 364 citations last year and 98 so far this year.

Politicians addressing crime by passing laws, then congratulating themselves for passing laws. Laws that are ignored and rarely enforced. Good job!
