Chicago dealing with arrival of increasingly sick migrants – WBBM (Chicago)

Migrants are supposed to undergo health exams when they arrive in Chicago. But Cook County, which is providing the service, sometimes cannot keep up with the demand, mayoral Deputy Chief of Staff Cristina Pacione-Zayas said.

Good thing that the US has not recently experienced any extended periods of sickness in the general population that might give officials pause at inviting sick undocumented people into the country. With our wonderful medical system, there could never be a sickness event that could spread rapidly and infect many people, so letting in a bunch of people from Third World countries is just fine.

And an exodus of tax paying citizens….

Not only the contagious illnesses brought by recently-arriving migrants with little to no vaccination histories, but also chronic, and/or serious illnesses which require expensive protracted medical care – all at the taxpayers’ cost, some placing taxpayers at risk for contracting those same contagious illnesses.

Crowded migrant shelters will increase risk of epidemic outbreaks of MMR illnesses seen as “controlled”. Wait for the measles, chicken pox, and mumps outbreaks, possibly even the polio outbreak. No small risk here.

“The use of vitamin C in measles proved to be a medical curiosity. For the first time a virus infection could be handled as if it were a dog on a leash. In the Spring of 1948 measles was running in epidemic proportions in this section of the country. Our first act, then, was to have our own little daughters play with children known to be in the contageous phase. When the syndrome of fever, redness of the eyes and throat, catarrh, spasmodic bronchial cough and Koplik spots had developed and the children were obviously sick, vitamin C was started.… Read more »

“Yes, vitamin C has been shown to cure, reverse, and / or prevent many infectious diseases considered to be incurable and largely untreatable. Yes, many viral infectious diseases have been cured and can continue to be cured by the proper administration of vitamin C. Yes, the vaccinations for these treatable infectious diseases are completely unnecessary when one has access to the proper treatment with vitamin C. And yes, all of the side effects of vaccinations, whether you consider them to be many or few, are also completely unnecessary since the vaccinations do not have to be given in the first… Read more »

Heart/liver/kidney transplants-facial reconstructions-cancer treatments and every med advertised on TV will be given compliments of Illinois taxpayers. Free housing/food/clothing/schooling (not public but probably private and private tutors) etc till the end of time. My parents and grandparents emigrated here without getting any handouts here or ever asked for any since they did not know they were available. They needed a sponsor and guarantee for a job and made a good life for themselves despite many obstacles. Getting the proper paperwork via Ellis Island was the first step when entering this country. Not anymore. Just walk across the border some say… Read more »

The backlash against this wave of immigrants is fomenting out in the open. Most people are angry, hate the uncontrolled immigration, but the government keeps doing it anyway. “Uncontrolled immigration will continue until morale improves!” I can’t say for certain what’s going to happen, but it won’t be pretty.

People can be angry all they want, but for Pritzker and Democrats the illegal immigrants are the priority.

This is going to be the overall single, most damaging event in US history. Damaging this Country in every way possible. you name it – Economically/Socially/Security/Heathcare/Education…the list is endless. Even if the morons who have Trump Derangement Syndrome who voted for the current grifter in office, vote them out this coming year, it will take trillions and years to get these people out of this country. Wake up folks, we are allowing people who do not love this country…in this country and allowing them to change it to match their third-world Crap-hole.

They’re never leaving. They were given free fare to settle here, penniless, and have no money to return home. And quite frankly, most of these countries won’t even accept them back. We’ve already seen what happens, we just look to Europe, with large populations of north African immigrants with large families living in government housing and government handouts. In some communities, nearly all of the ‘public’ housing goes to immigrants and their families, and the natives pay for it. In many cases they are on their third generation now. No one quite knows how to deal with it, with Germany… Read more »

If you think America is bad, Canada is even worse. And they’re doing it legally too. I’ve read one of the most popular immigration techniques is to attend college for a one semester condensed course for ‘early childhood education’ and then get a work permit afterwards. Tens of thousands of them, all applying for jobs unrelated to their fake degree. And moreover, these people are coming into Canada, and head straight for the US illegally. “The National Post. “Say that you carved out an uninhabited piece of Northern Saskatchewan and between July 1 and Oct. 1 you directed every single… Read more »

Third-world citizens figured out long ago it’s a better life in developed countries. With our open-border policy, it’s a no-brainer for them to pour in the U.S. like water rushing through a damaged dam. Most American citizens were surprised and troubled by this phenomenon; now, we’re only troubled.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
