Hopefully the republican party can grow stronger and more unified once Trump is out of the picture and no longer president.

How? Trump brought out 75,000,000 voters and won red races all the way down ballot. Biden got 82,000,000 ballots only because they flooded the country with mail in ballots and counted each and every returned ballot. There’s no other Republican that can draw those kind of numbers in 2024.

I like to think there are some other republican presidential candidates who could unify the party. They wont be as divisive (hopefully) and that would be a good thing.

The latest political discussions focus on republican senators/representatives and if they are a Trump supporter or not. I do not know the exact breakdown of where the republicans fall but it seems the party will be left with many who still support him and many who are trying to distance themself from him. What that means for 2022 election numbers remains to be seen.

75,000, 000 votes loser. The dems stole the election with fake mail ins. You are too stupid to get it.

Fake mail ins? Giuliani and Trump’s other lawyers went to multiple court hearings and presented their case to multiple judges and nobody found any evidence of fake mail ins. Do you have proof of these fake mail ins?

Whoa, let’s not be the establishment vs. Progressive wing of the D party. The fact of the matter is that the two R candidates prior to Trump totally sucked. As did the 16 other candidates in the primary in 2016. The only real contender to Trump was Cruz and he lost bad. Kaisch was a D plant, he’s a true RINO. He should have been out of the race earlier, he had little support anyways. Mccain was a RINO who gave up, as did Romney. Palin, while a real conservative, was the bridge to the Q wing of the party.… Read more »

“Earlier, about two dozen people peacefully protested across the street from Trump Tower.”

Snooze. Wake me up when you have 100,000 people storming Trump tower. Until then you’re just screaming into the void.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
