Not to worry because those shootings and homicides didnt happen in Chicago because the xways are under state police jurisdiction, they happened in Invisible Land

I hate to say, but all these kids/ perps are living in a ‘grand-theft-auto’ reality. Bored out of their minds w covid shutdowns and little in way of the law to stop them. I believe chicago is #1/ leads the nation in expressway shootings!! Are we #1 in carjackings as well?

Now we know the real reason for having such expensive public schools; for inner cities at least its a babysitting service for parents as well as for spthe daytime secirity of businesses, the community citizens and travellers in the more crime-prone areas. Open up dem schools!

Who is shooting who on the freeway? Are rival gang bangers shooting each other up after throwing signs? Or are gang bangers shooting innocent drivers after a perceived slight, like “you didn’t let me merge quickly enough, so i’m shooting at you” or “you didn’t use a turn signal before cutting me off” kind of thing..

I was driving on 290 Monday morning near Schaumburg and a car load of coal pulled next to me and a women sticks her head out the window like a dog and screams at me. I immediately looked in the rear view mirror to see if I was trailing flames. She continued to rant about what, I have no idea. I suppressed my normal tendencies to give her the finger. This behavior is not exclusive to K town. They’re everywhere!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
