I am surprised this article is so rosy. We have had multiple clients in the last 5 years, notably, head out of state or significantly reduce their footprint here. The grifters keep pointing to chicago remaining as the third largest city, but forget residents doesn’t mean taxpaying citizens. The actual taxpaying population, and increasingly, the higher income taxpaying population is leaving. The city is not the same, the bustle of daily work life is not the same. But go ahead Dems, you be you and lead us all to the promised land.
