Food insecure? I don’t know, but from the pictures of those in line waiting for free food, they all look to have high BMIs. Maybe they eat enough food for two people? That being said, groceries are super cheap these days with the restaurant market nearly completely shut down. I saw a 10lbs bag of potatoes for $2.50 the other day. a 24oz loaf of bread is $2. Poblano peppers are $1 a pound. Beets are 2lbs for a $1. Choice Sirloin Tip Roasts are $3.99 a lbs. Whole chickens are $1.29lbs. Just leg quarters (yummy chicken vesuvio) are $1… Read more »

We have food stamps, WIC coupons, schools providing meals including take home sacks, food pantries, assorted charity organizations and so now we hear people need more food. Seriously it is hard to actually feel that there is any substance to this article beyond trying, as the liberal media does so well, to influence another tax and spend scheme designed for the usual liberal Democrats once again.

What a liberal slanted article! It tries to invoke sympathy without specifying what caused all the inequities….. the liberal/Dem policies. That doesn’t work on me any more.
