Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Purchase electric school buses
Ban gas stoves.
Resolve to enact cease-fire initiative for Gaza.
Ban selective-enrollment CPS educational programs.
Invite and long-term house migrants who have no US legal status.
Now that the influential Mayor Raggedy has spoken I’m sure both Israelis and Palestinians will put down all weapons and live in peace. Then Brando can end the war in the Ukraine. There is nothing the Word Salad King can’t accomplish. Just look at how great Chicago is doing.

Because they want to shoot at each other over petty disputes or gang warfare. It’s their way of life. They’ve been doing this since the 1960’s. I’m not kidding, the west side has been an unabated war zone since the 1960’s. We’re talking 60+ years of hundreds of shooting a year. It’s just what they do. It’s passed on from grandfather to father to child just like baseball is in non-murdery communities. Ya I know been in Illinois all my life and yes it’s been a shooting gallery forever. Like everyone else I’m just tired of these morons who claim to be politicians and care about the people (citizens) of Chicago and Illinois it’s just sickening especially with the individual in Springfield the baby killer.
But they DO care about the citizens of Chicago: They care about the citizen’s freedom to shoot at each other over petty disputes, street level crime and gang warfare. People like you and I don’t shoot at each other as a lifestyle. But these people do. And they seem to enjoy doing it, and they’ve been shooting at each other for over 60+ years unabated.
