Chicago Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson rebukes ‘large corporations’ for poverty, violence in the city – FOX News

"We have large corporations. Seventy percent of large corporations in the city of Chicago — in the state of Illinois, did not pay a corporate tax," Johnson said during a television appearance Thursday. "And it's that type of restraint on our budget that has caused the type of disinvestment that has led to poverty, of course that has led to violence."

He should talk to JB. Here is a man worth $3.4 billion that keeps his money offshore so he doesn’t have to pay taxes on it. What about it Brandon?

F-tard Johnson doesn’t understand that corporations don’t pay taxes when they have lost money or have done legal tax avoidance.

More importantly, BJ The Race Clown is the last one to talk about not paying what you owe the government

Brandon is laying the groundwork to implement the employee head tax and will say it’s justified because corporations don’t pay their fair share in income taxes.

Don’t worry Brandon. With nonsense like that spewing from your mouth you won’t have to worry about those corporations for much longer!

Chase out what is left of private business. The Illinois way is to ruin it for everyone and to benefit just a few.

Assuming Wikipedia is accurate, the 4 largest employers in Chicago are the U.S. Government, Chicago Public Schools, City of Chicago and Cook County. Bloated government agencies, hospitals and universities are the big employers in this city. Private industry has been fleeing the city for ages, along with taxes BJ so desperately wants.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
