Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot: Time to send Illinois GOP gubernatorial candidate ‘back to the farm’ – FOX News

"So make no mistake, Trump is on the ballot. His name is Darren Bailey. And we need to send him back to the farm," Lightfoot said. "Trump is on the ballot in every single one of the Republicans that you are going to face when you go into the voting pool. And you must remember that we are Illinois. We are a state that believes in people's rights and that we're going to treat everyone with dignity and respect."

Where was her dignity and respect for Italian Americans as regards to the Christopher Columbus statue and the derogatory comments she made. Typical piece of garbage that needs to be thrown out.

The reality is that JB and LL think that half the voters are wrong and don’t understand the benefits of crime in the streets. Until the urban voter in Chicago realizes that 900+ homicides a year is unacceptable and vote to stop it, nothing will change!

LOL mayor Big Stick says we are Illinois. LOL governor JB used a similar line during his Covid briefings only to blame southern counties and the suburbs for our problems.
So, dignity and respect is putting migrants on CTA busses to the suburbs? Republicans present a picture of city and state that is out of touch with reality. Don’t connect other cities in the state to the hell hole you and JB created in chicago! The two of you are morons and can’t realize what you have done, that’s reality.

IL/Chicago needs a massive 180. Everything is going way down hill. Lightfoot, Foxx, Preckwinkle, Pritzker, Rauol—we have the worst of the worst.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
