Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
If someone has the resources to challenge these two programs in the same manner that the Bally/Chicago racist stock offering was legally challenged, I would think both programs would be shot down as illegal. It is still amazing that the guy can get away with this openly racist rhetoric and not get reamed by the mainstream press.
This is sickening. Brandon Johnson is raiding Chicago for all it’s got, then borrowing more to get more. These programs spread actually money to his favored friends for nothing in return. He is just handing out multi-million checks to people, wrapped in government gobbledygook that really means just start a non-profit, I’ll hand you a million, we good. It’s that easy. No actual work will be done, no actual work is required, other than making sure those checks keep coming.
I hope all the spineless, guilty white libs that think this guy is the greatest thing since sliced bread are happy. You’re effectively ruining your children’s and grandchildren’s future by turning them into cash cows. Enjoy.
And he calls white people racists
