A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Modern liberals inhabit Fantasyland, so, by definition, their governmental policy aims have little grounding in reality and eventually fail miserably with the bill foisted upon taxpayers. Leftists never want fed-up taxpayers looking at the results of their actions, only their stated intent.
This pattern has recurred since the inception of organized human society, an eternal testament to the fatal naïveté embedded in certain governing ideologies. One cannot help but contemplate the myriad cities, tribes, and civilizations extinguished by precursors of what we now term the “liberal” mindset. This is no modern aberration but a transhistorical delusion of conciliatory utopianism that has long afflicted those in authority.
