Chicago NASCAR race to bring jobs, millions in revenue to the Windy City, organizers say – FOX32 (Chicago)

They say along with more than a million dollars in spending, the race will bring nearly 900 jobs.

Nobody goes downtown anymore anyway, so at least they won’t hit anyone. Would be interesting to see a high speed carjacking attempt though.

Yeah, right … what an absolutely STUPID idea: NASCAR racing in the middle of a metropolitan area. Summer is short and now a chunk of the city will be out-of-bounds for citizens while NASCAR sets up, races, and breaks down.

In 2023 I expect to see a car race of sorts to see who can drive out of Chicago, Cook County and Illinois the fastest.

Just leave any Democratic Party voting habits at the border. You’re gonna be viewed as a refugee in your new red state home — not a missionary.
