Chicago Police Chief: ‘Federal Agents Are Officers’ – Breitbart

“Let me make this CLEAR! Federal agents, ICE, HSI, are officers,”  Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling said during an October 2025 press conference. “They are agents of law enforcement. ... We cannot become a society where we just decide to take everything in our own hands and start to commit crimes against law enforcement!” The comment stands in stark contrast to comments made Saturday night by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who strongly stated that federal agents are not law enforcement.

This is at least an acknowledgement of reality, something that Tampon Tim and JB the Hutt can’t bring themselves to do.

This Dem-induced insurrection is a complete distraction from the simple fact that Tampon Tim has been caught with his arm in the proverbial cookie jar. MN voters should be outraged about this, but instead are focused on the ‘squirrel’ proffered by the useless national media.

I’ve met Larry a few times at multiple functions and he is without a doubt a cops’ cop, deep thinker, get it done kind of guy who can also walk the political tight rope in an insane blue city and state. We need mor Larry Snellings.

There is a possibility that Snelling might retire to focus on running for Mayor of Chicago, idea was floating around on A.M talk radio today, nothing solid yet.

Walz is trying to deflect the attention from himself and all the fraud he,Frey, and Omar are a part of.

Yes they did. And then tried to redact the transmissions on the police radio that proved as much. Fortunately, too many of the rank and file heard it and threw cold water on the notion of a coverup. I believe said Commander that ordered the officers to leave the area has since been quietly parked in a corner somewhere while waiting for the right time to retire and collect a fat pension, as Yolanda Talley did. Hers is a story for the books.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
