Chicago Police Department has made strides in homicide investigations, research group says – Chicago Sun-Times

In 2024, Chicago’s murder clearance rate was 56 percent, according to the department. But that includes “exceptional clearances” in which no arrest was made because the suspect died or because prosecutors declined to file charges. The percentage of murders cleared by an arrest in Chicago is only 25 percent.

For years and years the problem of violent crimes like homicides, shootings and gun crimes fall squarely into the lap of POC. 96-97% of all homicides and murders involve blacks and hispanics and it’s been that way for a long time. Stats are available on HEYJACKASS.COM
