Chicago police face potential pay hikes that raise city budget concerns – FOX32 (Chicago)

I’m betting that the behind the scenes story is fiduciary CTU/Brandon has promised his CTU buddies the moon in raises to be awarded (negotiated) after the convention in August, expect CTU to be getting 36% raises because that’s what NYC teacher just got under Adams and not the chump change 20% raises FOP and Fire just negotiated…so now to make it not look so bad CTU/Brandons is upping his offer to cops. Does anyone believe any of these contracts are NEGOTIATED on the taxpayer behalf? CHUMP TAXPAYERS BE DAMMED!!!

I would expect CTU members to have a favorable contract as well. Sky high inflation along with another large city getting a 36% raise certainly should help CTU in negotiations. The taxpayers weren’t damned rather the taxpayers chose their leadership for these negotiations. This is what the majority of the taxpayers wanted. Elections have consequences.
