The officers blood along with the blood of many other victims is dripping from the hands of the Cook County States Attorneys office who regularly refuse to charge violent criminals by demanding more and more evidence in many slam dunk cases. Restorative justice in action and it doesn’t work.

Read that article a few minutes ago, and wasn’t surprised to learn that the officer’s murderer was someone who got thru the “criminal justice” system for a prior violent gun crime with a kiss on the forehead. As I opened the CWB article, I was actually thinking that I wasn’t going to be shocked to learn that another gang-thug with an arrest record but no subsequent punishment (or inconvenience, really) had killed the officer. People arrested by a police officer who found them illegally in possession of a firearm walk out of jail in moments by the hundreds every day… Read more »
