Chicago police say new financial bonuses have been agreed upon – Center Square

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7 President John Catanzara said a deal is in place for a bonus for officers who have been on the force for 20-plus years and sets up negotiations for recently terminated officers. But union leaders are still pushing for parental leave and have said they will pursue legal action if the policy is not granted as it recently was for the city's teachers.
