Chicago Public Schools and the Illinois State Board of Education produced different numbers, based on different definitions and methods of categorizing newly arrived students. But an accurate picture of how many immigrant students are arriving and enrolling in local public schools is becoming more important, as a proposal in the Illinois legislature would provide money to districts faster to help new students.
It is astounding how much importance democrats place on providing benefits for these invaders. TESL(Teaching where English is a Second Language) classes make the often false assumption that the rural ignorant peasant can read and write in their native language.

Based on these figures everyone should now understand why Chicago Public Schools are unable to teach math.
I am more focused on how much property taxes will go up to pay for all these ILLEGALS being pushed on us……our children need-deserve to be educated FIRST!!

LOL GIGO, Garbage In, Garbage Out: “The district stopped gathering information on students’ birth country and the date of first enrollment in the U.S. in response to threats against immigrants and their citizenship status and as part of the implementation of sanctuary provision in the collective bargaining agreement with the Chicago Teachers Union.”
You can’t make this stuff up. They wanted to keep the figures secret, that’s why they stopped collecting. Black children were leaving and were being replaced by hispanics, and that makes the CTU look bad.
