Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Once Teachers get tenure the do not work or give a damn about anything. Just leeches on the taxpayers. Teacher should be paid by performance, that way they would have to pay to teach as they do a Schmitt job.
Let’s see, investigated 1,735 cases of sexual misconduct, and referred 17 for prosecution.
Hmm – that’s what, 9 tenths of one percent?
And then told us we don’t need to worry because they’re no worse than every other school district in the nation.
Well, that’s comforting….
Hmm, my Catholic school in the 60s never had a sex crimes unit. What changed?
I was thinking your exact thought on this without thinking of any religious aspect. Is anyone surprised that schools that promote GROOMING have a problem with GROOMERS?
Who would downvote this? A CTU pedophile member who preys on the students. That’s who. And counts on the Union scum to protect him or her. Bust this union now.
Now the state wants sex ed taught in all grades so the CTU pedophiles can interact sexually with students of all ages
