Chicago Public Schools students test scores worse than pre-pandemic – Illinois Policy

Students in Chicago and statewide are still performing worse than they did before the pandemic. But in Chicago, the rate of students failing to meet proficiency in reading and math is greater than the statewide averages.

I wrote my superintendent asking if he’d hold himself accountable for the decrease in test score as a result of his covid policies. I asked him when he planned on resigning in shame for performing so poorly.

All I got was a form reply suggesting we meet in person. He had his pronouns in his signature line, because, of course these losers do.
